titleOfInvention | Gene carriers with improved tumor specific expression |
abstract | The present invention provides a gene expression control sequence comprising: (a) a hypoxia-responsive element (HRE) enhancer sequence; And (ii) a human telomere reverse transcriptase (hTERT) promoter downstream of the HRE sequence; And (b) relates to a gene transporter, particularly recombinant adenoviruses with improved tumor specific expression comprising a gene sequence operatively linked to the gene expression regulatory sequence. The present invention also relates to a pharmaceutical anti-tumor composition comprising the recombinant adenovirus. Recombinant adenovirus of the present invention exhibits an improved effect of selective tumor cell killing ability or high death, and shows a significantly improved anti-tumor effect, especially in hypoacidic conditions. In addition, specific expression of recombinant adenoviruses in cancer cells may increase stability in the body, leading to further improved anti-tumor effects.n n n n Gene Transporter, Adenovirus, HRE, hTERT, TRAIL, Hypoxia, Tumor Cell, Cancer, Gene Therapy |
