titleOfInvention | Biomarker composition and diagnostic kit for detecting diabetic retinopathy |
abstract | The present invention provides a biomarker composition for diabetic retinopathy detection comprising at least one protein selected from proteins consisting of amino acid sequences of SEQ ID NOs: 1 to 105. The present invention also provides a diabetic retinopathy diagnostic kit comprising a molecule specifically binding to at least one protein selected from proteins consisting of amino acid sequences of SEQ ID NOs: 1 to 105.n n n Proteins having amino acid sequences of SEQ ID NOs: 1 to 105 are newly found to be specifically overexpressed in PDR patients and can be used as biomarkers for detecting diabetic retinopathy. Thus, the biomarker can provide basic information for studying vitreoretinal diseases such as diabetic retinopathy. In particular, the newly discovered protein can be produced as a diagnostic kit for diagnosing diabetic retinopathy with a molecule that specifically binds to the protein, for example, monoclonal antibodies and the like.n n n n Diabetic retinopathy, biomarker |
