abstract The battery voltage at the time of charge is high and an energy density can be improved. The positive electrode 12 and the negative electrode 14 are laminated via the separator 15 in which the electrolyte is impregnated. The positive electrode 12 comprises a lithium composite oxide comprising oxygen and at least one of lithium, cobalt and nickel in the positive electrode active material. The battery voltage at the time of charge is 4.25V or more. The total amount of lithium carbonate and lithium sulfate in the positive electrode 12 is 1.0 mass% or less with respect to the positive electrode active material, and the concentration of protic impurities in the electrolyte is a mass ratio with respect to the electrolyte. It is 20 ppm or less by mass ratio with respect to.
