abstract | The present invention relates to a method for recovering and recycling cobalt from scrap containing cobalt as a main component, and more particularly, by depositing a bicomponent metal contained in a cobalt composition solution starting from cobalt scrap as a solvent for each pH, sequentially. Instead of separating, most of the binary metals are separated and removed by oxidizing them at once with a persulfate catalyst, and the remaining binary metals are extracted and removed using a relatively inexpensive fatty acid rather than an expensive oxime or phosphate solvent. By recovering the present invention, there is provided a method for recovering cobalt from cobalt scrap which can be economically, efficiently and environmentally extracted and reused industrially applicable high quality cobalt from cobalt scrap, and cobalt hydroxide prepared therefrom. |
