| abstract | The refastenable absorbent garment includes a body panel comprising a nonwoven fabric, and a spunbond nonwoven fabric, preferably having a pattern of discrete bond faces. The body panel has an inelastic face. The hook-type fastening member includes a high density hook array having a hook density of at least 60 hooks per cm 2. At least a portion of the hook array is coupled to the nonwoven in the inelastic side of the body panel. In one preferred embodiment of the invention, about 5% to 25% of the spunbond nonwovens comprise a bonding face. In another preferred embodiment, the spunbond nonwoven has a basis weight of about 0.3 osy to about 2.0 osy.
