abstract | The present invention relates to a lubricity feedstock base for a combination of hydrofluorocarbons and optionally hydrochlorofluorocarbon coolants comprising a combination of (A) at least one alkylbenzene and (B) at least one polyol ester. . Alkylbenzene is not miscible with the coolant formulation at the desired operating temperature and pressure of the cooling system or air conditioning system, but it has been found that the addition of low concentrations of polyol esters greatly improves the miscibility of the alkylbenzene and polyol ester formulations.
