abstract [assignment]n n n Provided is a yttria (Y 2 O 3 ) sintered compact having high density and excellent plasma resistance.n n n [Resolution]n n n The yttria (Y 2 O 3 ) sintered compact is made into the structure which contains the yttria (Y 2 O 3 ) crystal and Y 3 BO 6 crystal as a structural crystal of the sintered compact. In order to obtain such a yttria (Y 2 O 3 ) sintered body, a boron compound is added to the yttria (Y 2 O 3 ) powder in a ratio of 0.02 wt% or more and less than 10 wt% in terms of boron oxide (B 2 O 3 ). After the mixed powder is molded, the mixture is sintered at 1300 ° C or more and less than 1600 ° C.
