titleOfInvention Sponge pad and paper manufacturing method comprising a paper layer
abstract Spongy pads are disclosed for use in cleaning and other wiping and polishing applications. Spongy pads are made from multiple organized paper webs attached together at selected locations. The paper web can be, for example, a highly organized air-dry paper web containing high yield fibers and humectants. In one embodiment, the laminated plies can be contained in a liquid permeable cover material. The sponge-like article of the present invention can be used alone or incorporated into a cleaning tool such as a mob.
