titleOfInvention | Block-ramming machine |
abstract | The present invention provides a compaction unit 100 that is constructed as follows: (a) a fill port opening 51, a longitudinal bore 52, and a compression end; end 53, an extended open end ramming chamber 50 having an extrusion end 57, (b) a compression end of ramming chamber 50 along the end bore 52. Ramming head 20, (c) which repels material within 53, occupies most of the projecting end 57 of ramming chamber 50 and is an integral part of compression unit 100. Continuous homogeneous block 40 composed of all precompressed materials, functioning as (d) providing movement to the ramming head 20 to provide a non-dense block-making material 40A ( A hydraulic cylinder 10 (part of the actuator) which compresses the soil, for example, into a block 40. This forms a new lift 40B that effectively fuses with the existing lift 40C, thereby forming a continuous homogeneous block 40 of relatively high density material exiting the compression unit 100. A shearing chamber 60 splits these blocks to any desired length, and the support platform 70 supports and stores these blocks until use. The process of using standard construction equipment and modified lifting devices for lifting and placing these blocks in a building system is described. In other words, a unique design feature 22 is incorporated into the ramming head 20 to increase the 'frictional threshold' of the material being compressed in the chamber 50. |
