titleOfInvention | Method of producing methionine |
abstract | A nucleic acid molecule named MR nucleic acid molecule encoding a novel MR protein from Corynebacterium glutamicum involved in biosynthesis of purified chemicals, eg, methionine biosynthesis, is described. The invention also provides antisense nucleic acid molecules, transformed expression cassettes or vectors containing MR nucleic acid molecules, and host cells into which the expression cassettes or vectors have been introduced. The present invention further comprises culturing a methionine from a microorganism, such as C. glutamicum, which comprises culturing a recombinant microorganism that overexpresses or deficiently expresses at least one MR molecule of the invention under conditions such that methionine is produced. Provide a way to produce. Also characterized is a method of producing purified chemicals, such as methionine, comprising culturing a recombinant microorganism with selected MR genes deleted or mutated under conditions that allow for the production of purified chemicals, such as methionine. n n Methionine, Metabolic Regulatory Molecules, Recombinant, Corynebacterium, Brevibacterium |
