abstract | Disclosed are a thickener having a high purity without directly generating fatty acids and metals at low temperature without base oil, and having a high purity, and a method of preparing the same in a powder form and grease using the same. The present invention provides a thickener for grease comprising 0.1 to 5.0 wt% of a catalyst, 2.5 to 3.5 wt% of a metal source, 0.1 to 40 wt% of dibasic acid and the remaining fatty acid or castor oil. In addition, the catalyst is added to a vessel containing water and heated, fatty acid or castor oil is added, a metal source is added and the temperature is maintained, and then aged to adjust pH, and the temperature is increased to obtain a metal source and dibasic acid. It provides a method for preparing a thickener for grease prepared by increasing the temperature again after the equivalent of the prescription and maintaining the pH at 9 and then dehydrating, drying and grinding. |
