abstract | In an aqueous suspension containing a dispersing agent, 100 parts by weight of non-crosslinked, straight-chain low density polyethylene resin particles polymerized with a metalocene compound as a catalyst and containing an inorganic nucleating agent, 50 to 800 parts by weight of a styrene monomer, Dispersing 0.1 to 0.9 parts by weight of the polymerization initiator per 100 parts by weight of the styrene monomer, and heating the obtained dispersion to a temperature at which the styrene monomer is not substantially polymerized to impregnate the styrene monomer into the low density polyethylene resin particles. Styrene modification which consists of a process to make and the process of superposing | polymerizing the said styrene monomer at the temperature of (T + 10)-(T + 35) degreeC when the crystallization peak temperature of the said low density polyethylene-type resin particle is set to T degreeC.
