titleOfInvention | Honeycomb Structure |
abstract | In a honeycomb structure in which a plurality of honeycomb segments are unified by bonding, a honeycomb structure with improved durability is provided. The present invention relates to a plurality of honeycomb segments having an outer wall, a partition wall positioned inside the outer wall, and a plurality of cells separated by the partition wall and penetrating the segments in the axial direction, and disposed between the outer walls of the plurality of honeycomb segments. A honeycomb structure having an adhesive layer for unifying honeycomb segments by bonding. In the honeycomb structure, the following (i) is included in the outer wall, or at least one material selected from the group consisting of (i) to (i) below or in the outer wall or between the outer wall and the adhesive layer, or (I) is contained in the adhesive layer.n n n (Iv) waterproofing material, (ii) cation exchange material, (iv) water absorbing material and (iv) glass phase. |
