abstract |
The present invention provides systems and methods for manufacturing and analyzing high efficiency of arrays of coated materials. The system 10 of one embodiment for manufacturing an array of coated materials includes a plurality of organic materials 14 and a conveying mechanism 12 for conveying each of the plurality of organic materials to the conveying region 24. The conveying mechanism has a plurality of sources 38 that each engage with a corresponding one of the plurality of organic materials. Each of the plurality of feeds provides a thickness distribution profile 48 of a corresponding organic material at least partially located within the conveying region, with at least one thickness distribution profile varying across the conveying region. One embodiment method of making an array of coated materials includes preparing a plurality of organic materials 14 and selectively conveying each of the plurality of organic materials to a conveying region. Each of the plurality of organic materials has a thickness distribution profile 48 located at least partially within the conveyance region, with at least one thickness distribution profile varying across the conveying region. |
