titleOfInvention Absolute position detection method and device for synchronous elevator by stator iron saturation detection
abstract A method and apparatus for determining the position of a rotor relative to a stator in a synchronous motor elevator is provided. The method includes injecting an alternating current having a set single frequency and a set initial phase angle into a stator coil of the stator and sampling the injected current and the synthesized voltage a predetermined number of times per period of frequency. The method then calculates the stator inductance from the sampled voltage and current using the DFT. By increasing the initial phase angle a predetermined number of times per 360 degree period and repeating the injection, sampling and calculation with each increased phase angle, the algorithm provides a set value of the calculated stator inductance.
