titleOfInvention | Antibodies and FV Fragments Recognizing Antigen Ioal City 2 |
abstract | The present invention relates to obtaining novel recombinant antibodies from murine antibody IOR C5 produced by hybridomas deposited with accession number ECCC 97061101 in accordance with the Budapest Treaty. The recombinant antibodies were obtained using recombinant DNA technology and are characterized in that they recognize antigen IOR C2. Recombinant antibodies are in particular chimeric antibodies, humanized antibodies and single chain Fv fragments. Chimeric antibodies contain the variable domains of murine immunoglobulins and the constant regions of human immunoglobulins. Humanized antibodies contain constant regions of human immunoglobulins and have been specifically modified in murine skeletal regions (FRs) and in those regions capable of producing antigenic sites for T cells. Fv fragments contain the variable domains of murine immunoglobulins. The invention also relates to the use of recombinant antibodies derived from murine IOR C5 to diagnose and treat colorectal tumors, their metastases and recurrences. |
