abstract |
The annular fuel rod includes an outer sheath, an inner sheath coaxially disposed with the outer sheath and a diameter smaller than the outer sheath, and a plurality of annular sintered bodies inserted along the axial direction between the outer sheath and the inner sheath. . At least one of the plurality of annular sintered bodies has an inner annular sintered body charged adjacent to the inner cladding tube side, and an outer annular sintered body charged with the inner annular sintered body having a central gap and adjacent to the outer covering tube side. Here, the inner and outer annular sintered bodies have different dimensional change characteristics due to neutron irradiation. That is, the furnace densification degree of the said inner annular sintered compact is higher than the furnace densification degree of the said outer annular sintered compact. Thus, the annular fuel rod can improve the asymmetry problem of heat flux. |
