abstract The present invention relates to a method of making a decorative article. The method of the present invention involves printing a design on the surface of the transfer paper using hot ink and sublimating to transfer the design to the surface of the transparent and flat substrate to obtain a decorated substrate. The decorated surface is then placed in a mold and thermoplastic resin is injected to form an article. The decorated substrate is placed in the mold so that the surface with the design faces the inside of the mold.
