titleOfInvention Recombinant Thrombin-like Enzyme Batroxobin Expressed from Yeast and Its Production Method
abstract FIELD OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to recombinant thrombin-like enzyme batroxobin expressed from yeast, methods for its preparation and use as a hemostatic or antithrombotic agent. To express recombinant thrombin-like enzymes, cDNAs of the recombinant thrombin-like enzymes are cloned to construct expression vectors expressing them, the transformants are cultured, and recombinant thrombin-like enzymes are obtained therefrom. The recombinant thrombin-like enzyme of the present invention can be used as a hemostatic agent because it effectively reduces bleeding and blood coagulation times and does not show effects on other blood coagulation factors. In addition, the recombinant thrombin-like enzyme of the present invention can be used as an active ingredient in a hemostatic composition or an antithrombotic composition.
