abstract The present invention provides a culture supernatant of Bacillus polyfermenticus SCD ( Bacillus polyfermenticus ) strain having an antioxidant activity and a polar solvent extract thereof, and in detail, the Bacillus polypermanticus SCD strain culture supernatant of the present invention and a polar solvent thereof After injecting excessive amounts of iron to the experimental animals to induce oxidative stress, in vitro preliminary experiments showed antioxidant activity to increase total antioxidant capacity of plasma, and significantly reduce the concentration of lipid peroxide, and to inhibit DNA damage.
