titleOfInvention Fatty acid-containing melamine cyanurate flame retardant and preparation method thereof
abstract BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to nitrogen-based flame retardants suitable for use in electronic materials such as printed circuit boards or epoxy molding compounds (EMCs), specifically melamine cyanurate and methods for producing the same.n n n The flame retardant prepared by the present invention can be obtained by washing cyanuric acid with deionized water and adding fatty acid in the raw material, and the typical conductive ions are sodium ions less than 35 ppm and chlorine ions less than 60 ppm. Including the electrical characteristics are very excellent.n n n The flame retardant prepared by the present invention has an advantage of being suitable for use in polyolefin resins such as polyethylene or polypropylene in addition to the field of electronic materials.
