abstract | Plasma flat-panel displays consist of gas-filled sutures. The encapsulation includes an upper glass substrate having a plurality of parallel sustain electrode pairs formed on an inner surface and at least one control electrode with each pair of sustain electrodes formed on the inner surface between the sustain electrodes. The encapsulation also includes a dielectric thin film covering the sustain and control electrodes and a lower glass substrate separated from the upper glass substrate. The lower glass substrate includes a plurality of intersecting barrier layers and microgrooves. The address electrode has each fine groove and a phosphor is formed over a predetermined area of each address electrode. |
