titleOfInvention Negative active material and lithium battery employing same
abstract A negative electrode active material and a lithium battery employing the same are disclosed. In detail, a negative electrode active material and a lithium battery having improved lifespan by employing the same are disclosed.n n n The negative electrode active material according to the present invention inhibits the reaction between the electrolyte solvent and the metal particles by binding a repeating unit of-(CH 2 CH 2 O)-to the surface of the metal particles that can be alloyed with lithium, thereby reducing the elasticity of the repeating unit. It can be used to partially absorb the expansion of the metal particles. In particular, the repeating unit may suppress the aggregation of the metal particles to improve the dispersion characteristics in the electrode.
