abstract | A driving integrated circuit of a liquid crystal display device having a double column structure is disclosed. The driving integrated circuit of the liquid crystal display according to the present invention includes a first shift register part, a first data latch part, first and second decoders, and first and second output buffers. The first data latch unit receives and stores first and second group channel data in response to a clock signal generated by the first shift register unit. The first and second decoders respectively receive the first and second group channel data and output corresponding gamma voltages. The first and second output buffers are disposed along one long side of an integrated circuit chip, respectively, and buffer corresponding gamma voltages to drive corresponding channels. The first shift register unit and the first data latch unit may be shared by the upper and lower blocks to commonly process the first and second group channel data. According to the present invention, the area of the liquid crystal display driver integrated circuit is reduced, and the inter-channel output characteristics are improved. |
