abstract |
The present invention relates to a drug delivery device for human eye. Human eye has sclera, inferior oblique muscle and macular. The device of the onset includes a pharmaceutically active agent and a geometry that facilitates insertion of the device just below the inferior oblique muscle, on the outer surface of the sclera and places the pharmaceutically active agent above the macula. The invention also relates to a method of delivering a pharmaceutically active agent to the posterior eye of a human eye. |
