| abstract |
An interposer having one or more hollow electrical contact buttons is disposed in the carrier. The interposer is formed by depositing a sacrificial post in the via of the carrier. Electrical contact buttons are formed on the sacrificial post by a metallizing process using a mask of the desired pattern.
