titleOfInvention Electrode catalyst for fuel cell and manufacturing method
abstract BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to an electrode catalyst for a fuel cell and a method of manufacturing the same, and more particularly, to an electrode catalyst for a fuel cell formed by supporting gold on activated carbon and a method of manufacturing the same. The electrode catalyst for a fuel cell according to the present invention is characterized in that the content of gold is 5 to 50wt% compared to activated carbon. In addition, the method for producing an electrode catalyst for a fuel cell according to the present invention is characterized in that it comprises the step of adding gold chloride aqueous solution to activated carbon to adsorb gold ions, and reducing by adding ammonium bicarbonate aqueous solution as a reducing agent. According to the electrode catalyst for a fuel cell according to the present invention it is possible to solve the existing problem that the catalyst activity is lowered by carbon monoxide.n n n n Fuel cell, electrode, catalyst, fuel electrode, air electrode, gold, activated carbon
