The present invention relates to pyrrolidine derivatives of formula (I). The compound is preferably used as a pharmaceutically active compound. In particular, the pyrrolidine derivatives of formula (I) are useful for the treatment and / or prevention of preterm infant delivery, premature birth and menstrual irregularities. In particular, the present invention relates to pyrrolidine derivatives which exhibit the antagonist activity of the matrix regulator, notably the oxytocin receptor. More preferably, the compounds are useful for the treatment and / or prevention of disease symptoms caused by oxytocin, including preterm infant delivery, premature birth and menstrual irregularities.
