BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a proton conductor in which a carbonaceous material composed mainly of carbon is used as a mother, and a proton dissociable group is introduced therein. In this proton conductor, the proton moves through the proton dissociative group. In addition, the proton conductor has higher ion conductivity than electron conductivity. As the carbonaceous material used as the mother, carbonaceous materials having a diamond structure and carbon clusters such as fullerene and tubular carbonaceous (so-called carbon nanotubes) are used. |
