abstract An object of the present invention is to provide an apparatus for sterilizing ballast water of a ship, and more particularly, to more efficiently sterilize marine life of ballast water using a high frequency induction heater. In order to achieve this object, the present invention provides a ballast water treatment apparatus having a ballast water supply unit and a ballast water tank for storing ballast water supplied by the ballast water supply unit, wherein the ballast water supply unit and the ballast water tank are provided. It is characterized by including a high frequency induction heating apparatus for heating the ballast water in between. Due to such a configuration, the ballast water treatment apparatus of the present invention can efficiently heat the ballast water in a short time by using a high frequency induction heating apparatus and efficiently to effectively prevent proliferation and sterilization of marine organisms. Moreover, even when the flow rate of the ballast water is fluctuated, the heating capacity of the high frequency heating device is adjusted accordingly to secure the reliability of the ballast water treatment device. In addition, by cooling the heated ballast water by the cooling device has the effect of protecting the coating inside the ballast water storage tank.n n n n Ballast water treatment device, high frequency heating device
