titleOfInvention Hydrogenated Aromatic Oligomer and Method for Manufacturing the Same
abstract The hydrogenated aromatic oligomer of the present invention is represented by the following formula (1), and is obtained by reacting a polycyclic aromatic compound such as naphthalene, formaldehyde and phenol in the presence of an acid catalyst, followed by hydrogenation:n n n (A-F) n-A (1)n n n (In Formula (1), A is a component having a polycyclic aromatic compound, phenols, or hydride thereof as a main component, at least a part of which is the hydride, F is methylene or dimethylene ether, and n is 1 to 100 Commission). The oligomer is odorless and excellent in transparency, and is useful in improving adhesion and vibration damping by being blended with resins and rubbers, and exhibits excellent performance as an anti-vibration imparting agent, particularly in a wide temperature range.n n n Aromatic hydrogenated oligomers, polycyclic aromatics, phenols, formaldehyde, acid catalysts, vibration dampers
