abstract Aerosol feeding device 96 is used to feed the aerosol into reaction chamber 92 for chemical reactions that produce reaction products such as nanoparticles. Several improved aerosol delivery means result in a more uniform reaction product. In a preferred embodiment, a reaction chamber is used having a cross section perpendicular to the flow of the reactant material such that the major axis dimension is larger than the minor axis dimension. The aerosol is preferably stretched along the long axis of the reaction chamber.
