titleOfInvention Absorbent article with stretchable cover
abstract The unitary absorbent article has an article length in the longitudinal direction and an article width in the transverse direction. The article includes an absorbent composite having first and second longitudinally opposite end portions, transversely opposite side portions, a body side surface, an outer surface, and a first longitudinal end edge. The absorbent composite also includes a backsheet layer that is substantially liquid impermeable, a topsheet layer that is liquid permeable, and a retention portion lying between the backsheet layer and the topsheet layer described above. Connect the stretchable outer cover present over most of the outer surface of the absorbent composite. The extensible outer cover can preferably provide a selected stretch when under tension. The extensible outer cover may preferably also provide a selected continuous deformation by applying tension and removing the applied tension and then relaxing. In a particular aspect, the outer cover can provide an elongation of at least about 1 cm when subjected to a tension of about 30 gmf per inch.n n n n Absorbent article, Absorbent composite, Outer cover, Extendable outer cover, Body side, Outer surface, Longitudinal end, Topsheet layer, Backsheet layer
