titleOfInvention | Light Emitting Diode with Multilayer Fluorescent Layer |
abstract | A light emitting diode device having a multilayer fluorescent layer is disclosed. The disclosed light emitting diode device includes a light emitting diode chip that emits excitation light and a multilayer fluorescent layer that is formed to cover the light emitting diode chip in multiple layers and is excited by the excitation light to emit visible light of different colors for each layer, The multilayer fluorescent layer is formed to emit light of a longer wavelength in a layer closer to the light emitting diode chip and to emit light of a shorter wavelength in a layer farther from the light emitting diode chip. According to the present invention as described above, the light conversion efficiency of the light emitting diode device is improved to increase the amount of light output. |
