abstract | According to the present invention, there is provided a pattern forming substrate, an electro-optical device, a manufacturing method of a pattern forming substrate, and a manufacturing method of an electro-optical device that have improved the uniformity of pattern shapes formed by drying droplets. The photothermal conversion layer 22 containing the infrared absorbing material 22a is formed on the outer circumference of the element formation region 15, and the droplet and the light emitting layer formed of the hole transport layer forming material solution are formed on the same photothermal conversion layer 22. An accommodating hole 22h for accommodating the droplet made of the material solution was formed. Infrared light is irradiated onto the entire surface of the display surface 11b, and the infrared absorbing material 22a radiates heat through the heating wall 22w for the droplet formed in the accommodation hole 22h. It was made to dry by heat. |
