titleOfInvention Method of producing acrylic acid
abstract In preparing acrolein and acrylic acid by catalytic gas phase oxidation with a propylene molecular oxygen-containing gas, side reactions that cause organic acids, high boiling point compounds, tar phase compounds, precipitation, carbides, and deterioration of product quality are effectively prevented. Inhibition provides a method for producing acrolein and acrylic acid from propylene in high yield and at the same time stably over a long period of time. Content of the C2-C5 unsaturated hydrocarbon (except propylene) contained in a propylene raw material shall be 500 ppm (weight) or less. In particular, a propylene raw material having a content of unsaturated hydrocarbons of 2 to 5 carbon atoms (excluding propylene) of 200 ppm or less and a total content of dienes and acetylenes of 2 to 5 carbon atoms of 100 ppm or less is used. It is good.
