Hybrid Human / Rodent Iv Antibody Against CD3, and Method of Making the Same |
abstract |
The present invention has an amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NOs: 2, 4 and 6 with a variable region framework in the heavy chain and at least one CDR selected from their respective conservatively modified variants, and has a SEQ ID NO with a variable region framework in the light chain : IgG antibody having binding affinity for a CD3 antigen complex having amino acid sequences of 8, 10 and 12 and one or more CDRs selected from their respective conservatively modified variants, wherein the heavy chain variable region framework is sequence dependent Antibodies are provided that correspond to human type sequences, and wherein the light chain variable region framework comprises one or more specific amino acids characteristic of rodent type sequences. Antibodies of the invention can be expressed in improved yield by mammalian cell expression systems. |
