| abstract | The device of the invention comprises an optoelectronic device 1, a cover 2 and an adhesive 70. The optoelectronic device comprises a substrate 10 comprising anodes 20, 21, a film comprising optoelectronic material 30, and cathodes 41, 42. The cover includes a lid 50 and a protruding edge 60 while the protruding edge enters in from the outer edge of the lid. The cover 2 is in contact with the optoelectronic device 1 such that a film comprising the optoelectronic material 30 is disposed within the area defined by the protruding edge 60 while being positioned between the substrate and the cover.
