| abstract | The present invention provides an interface device between the IXBus and the POS-PHY layer-3, and a method thereof, comprising: a receiving interface unit for receiving an IXBus signal from a MAC device, converting the signal into a PL3 signal, and transmitting the PL3 signal to a network layer processor; POS-PHY, which is widely applied between the data link layer and the network link layer in an IP related system, by including a transmission interface unit which receives the PL3 signal from the network layer processing unit, converts it into an IXBus signal, and transmits the PL3 signal to the MAC device. Interface matching between Level-3 and IXBus provided by INTEL provides a stable data path between heterogeneous interfaces. |
