abstract | The present invention relates to a nanostructured tungsten carbide-cobalt-based powder for thermal spray coating, a method for preparing the same, and a nanostructured thermal spray coating using the same. To this end, the method for preparing a nanostructured tungsten carbide-cobalt-based powder for thermal spray coating according to the present invention comprises preparing a mixture of a tungsten carbide-cobalt mixture, a dispersant and a solvent, and adding a binder and a plasticizer to the mixture to partially aggregate the powder. Preparing the prepared slurry, spray drying the partially aggregated slurry to prepare spherical granules, and heat treating the spherical granules to remove organic matter contained in the spherical granules.
