abstract | The present invention provides a polyurethane film containing certain silver-based antimicrobial formulations. Such blends include antibacterial compounds, such as preferably silver-containing ion-exchange resins such as zirconium phosphate, free or zeolite compounds. The films of the present invention exhibit not only excellent antibacterial quality but also very good color properties. As a result, an antimicrobial film is provided that can be easily colored on the target film without causing transparent or unwanted browning and / or yellowing. |
