titleOfInvention | Resistive primer coating for cathode ray tube |
abstract | The present invention relates to a cathode ray tube comprising a vacuum envelope 11 having an inner surface and an outer surface. The vacuum envelope includes a face plate 12 on which the light emitting screen is located. Within the neck 14 of the vacuum envelope is arranged an electron gun 26 which produces at least one electron beam 28 directed to the luminous screen. The neck of the vacuum envelope and the face plate are connected by a funnel 15. The cathode ray tube is designed to place the deflection yoke 30 around the vacuum envelope located near the neck and funnel connection, whereby the deflection yoke 30 is attached to the vacuum envelope with adhesive 34. . The resistive primer coating is placed on the vacuum envelope to form a barrier between the yoke adhesive and the vacuum envelope. The resistant primer coating is formed from an aqueous formulation comprising a copolymer of chloroprene and methacrylic acid, a conductive material and at least one crosslinking agent. |
