titleOfInvention | In vivo calibration method and system for a biotransplantable ammeter blood glucose sensor that enables two-point calibration with one blood glucose measurement based on direct measurement of background current using a non-enzymatic electrode |
abstract | An in vivo calibration method and a system therefor are provided for a biograft ammeter blood glucose sensor using a non-enzymatic electrode. The calibration method for the implantable blood glucose sensor includes performing a correction by a background current, wherein the background current is directly measured by a non-enzyme electrode without injecting glucose from the outside. The system used in the above method comprises two electrodes, one of the two electrodes being an enzyme electrode, and the other electrode containing the same components and tissues as the enzyme electrode under the condition that no enzyme is included. It is a non-enzymatic electrode having a correction, and a calibration for quantifying the blood glucose in vivo is performed by direct measurement of the background current by the non-enzyme electrode. According to the correction method and system described above, the convenience of the conventional one-point correction method and the accuracy of the two-point correction are simultaneously achieved. |
