titleOfInvention Methylene-4-azasteroids
abstract R 20 and R 20a are independently fluoro, chloro, bromo, and cyano groups, R 4 and R 10 are hydrogen atoms or methyl, and R 1 and R 2 are each hydrogen or together an additional bond; Novel 17-methylene-4-azasteroids are described. The compounds are inhibitors of 5α-reducing enzymes and are therefore suitable for treating diseases due to increased testosterone and thus increased dihydrotestosterone levels in blood and tissues.
