abstract The contact structure for making electrical connection with the contact target is formed by manufacturing a contactor on the plane of the substrate by a micro fabrication technique. The contactor includes a base formed vertically on the substrate, a horizontal portion formed at one end of the base portion, and a contact portion formed at the other end of the horizontal portion. The elastic force of the horizontal portion of the contactor imparts contact force when the probe contactor is pressed against the contact target. As another feature of the invention, the contact structure comprises a recess for giving the contactor free space when the contactor is pressed against the contact target.
