abstract | The present invention relates to the use of adenovirus vectors for genetically modifying human mesenchymal stem cells to secrete excessive amounts of p53, a cancer suppressor protein, and use them for anticancer therapy. Specifically, the present invention relates to the use of adenovirus-induced mesenchymal stem cells to secrete an excess of p53, a tumor suppressor gene, and to use the same for anticancer therapy. The method for producing stem cells may be usefully used for the treatment of tumors. |
