titleOfInvention | Processes for preparing triazine compounds |
abstract | In the present invention, an alcohol compound such as halogenated cyanuric and methanol is reacted in the presence of alkali such as sodium hydrogen carbonate to produce 4,6-diakoxy-1,3,5-triazine-2-halide. The amount of water present in the reaction system at the start is 0.5 mole or less with respect to 1 mole of cyanuric halide or the amount of water present in the reaction system during the reaction period is 2.5 mole or less with respect to 1 mole of cyanuric halide.n n n According to the present invention, 4,6-dialkoxy-1,3,5-triazine-2-halide can be produced in high yield. |
