titleOfInvention Processes for preparing triazine compounds
abstract In the present invention, an alcohol compound such as halogenated cyanuric and methanol is reacted in the presence of alkali such as sodium hydrogen carbonate to produce 4,6-diakoxy-1,3,5-triazine-2-halide. The amount of water present in the reaction system at the start is 0.5 mole or less with respect to 1 mole of cyanuric halide or the amount of water present in the reaction system during the reaction period is 2.5 mole or less with respect to 1 mole of cyanuric halide.n n n According to the present invention, 4,6-dialkoxy-1,3,5-triazine-2-halide can be produced in high yield.
