A test kit and method are provided for observing fine lines and wrinkles, the kit comprising a transparent strip 2 with an adhesive on one surface and an imaging substrate having at least one dark, smooth area for receiving the transparent strip. . Instructions are provided in the kit. This tells the consumer to place the adhesive surface of the strip on the area of the skin that needs to be measured. The strip is then removed and placed on the dark area of the substrate. The morphological features of the skin can be seen through the transparent strip where the image of the skin is moved against a dark background. Anti-aging cosmetics can be applied to the skin over a period of time. Beneficial changes caused by the cosmetics are observed through test strips obtained by periodic measurements. |
