abstract | The present invention relates to an ophthalmic composition for treating retinal injury and a method for producing the same, comprising sulfasalazine or a water-soluble salt of sulfasalazine as an active ingredient.n n n The ophthalmic composition for treating retinal injury of the present invention prepared by mixing sodium hydroxide in an acetonitrile aqueous solution, adding sulfasalazine to react, and then dissolving the sulfasalazine sodium salt obtained by low temperature drying in distilled water at a concentration of 1 to 5 mM is glaucoma. It is used for the treatment of retinal ischemia, retinal damage caused by diabetic retinopathy, retinal nerve degeneration due to uveitis. |
