abstract | The phosphor for display devices of blue light emission and green light emission consists of zinc sulfide phosphors having a hexagonal crystal structure. The zinc sulfide phosphor of blue light emission has an average particle diameter in the range of (0.0169 x V E 1.9 + 2.49) ± 20% [μm] to the acceleration voltage V E (kV) of the electron beam. The green sulfide zinc sulfide phosphor has an average particle diameter in the range of (0.017 x V E 1.9 + 2.58) ± 20% [μm]. The phosphor for red light-emitting display device is composed of yttrium oxide phosphor or yttrium phosphor, and has an average particle diameter in the range of (0.023 x V E 1.95 + 2.88) ± 20% [μm]. These fluorescent substance for display apparatuses are used for the display apparatus which uses the electron beam whose acceleration voltage is 3 kV-15 kV as an excitation source. |
